| It was clearly a combination of circumstances that caused this accident. First of all the police officer was doing his job in pulling over this car for doing something illegal, this is what they do people, you know, to keep order on our freeways. Second, when you get pulled over on the freeway get the hell off the road, over on the grass if possible. Third, the semi had nowhere to go because he was boxed in by the cars on his left, he had no options to avoid a collision. Common sense people. |

| You can see the left side of the car is touching the solid white line separating the road from the shoulder but it's clear that the semi truck veered more than 70% onto the shoulder and smacked the rear end of the car. You can see the accident trail leading off the shoulder. Don't tell me you can't move your rig left just slightly to avoid hitting it. The semi driver was probably a rookie or dozed off at the wheels. I'm surprised the cop wasn't hit first! Smells like a lawsuit to me. |

| I agree as to the first 2, but the third one...the semi was a good bit over on the shoulder, where he should not have been. boxed in? was he entering the freeway from a ramp...if so, he shouldn't have entered until it was clear....however, IF he was just driving along, how would he have been boxed in IF he had been in the right lane to begin with? |
