Inflation will occur whether we are on the gold standard or not, which is what Ron Paul doesn't understand. He also believes highly in the Austrian school of economic thought, which relies solely on assumptions. No actual data or econometrics. Just because he's been arguing about an impending economic crises doesn't mean anything. Many top level economists, like Greenspan, also predicted a downturn occuring this year and into the next, yet they would whole heartedly disagree with Paul's policies

He's not just arguing this economic crisis, he's stating factual evidence to what the governments strategic intent has resoluted us to. Not only that, he's insisting a solution, GET OUT OF WAR, control each and every individuals spending habits, etc, that is a real solution. These pathetic puppet so called politicians are allowing us to basically die. They allowed the banks to loan money to people with no credit, they allowed this expensive war,they as in the federal reserve! Ron Paul is truth

And he doesn't believe highly in the Austrian school of economic thought, of just assumptions, he studied over 30 years in politics, he over throws most of these dummy politics intellectually repetitively! for example he continuously uses Vietnam and world war 2 to win arguments, that's facts not assumptions. This argument he speaks facts! I learned about Ron Paul 2 days ago, I know him and his supports are America's truth and destiny for harmony. Viva la Ron Paul!

I was not talking about his policies outside of economics, so I don't know what any of this has to do with that. I'm sorry, but the he does in fact follow the Austrian School of thought, because that is the only way his incorrect policies can possible sound legit. Also, you are absolutely wrong to say that the Fed allowed the war and the credit crises to occur. The credit crisis was a systematic failure,
while I do not agree with the reasons that we went to war, it was done so Constitutionally

Bernanke knows fool well that Ron Paul is right. However if he ever gave credence to Paul he would be looking for a new job. He is not likely to do that when nothing pays better than printing counterfeit money especially when the government turns a deaf ear because someone managed to get an illegal bill passed in 1913. Thank you for being a great American and good world citizen. You know as well as I do they would have never allowed you to be President and if you would have made it by chance they would have killed you like some previous Presidents. Everyone should watch the video "Money Masters" on Google video.
It's long but it's the best education you will ever get. As long as a private company (The Federal Reserve) contrls money we will never know freedom.
