It's true porche's are ugly and their engines sound tinny and metalic like the old vokswagen bug. The porche has it's roots in volkswagen and so that's all it really is is a glorified volkwagen. I'm not going to deny that some of them are fast, but that doesn't make it a good piece of engineering. No matter, because all the people who are buying these cheap boxters don't really enjoy the drive anyway, they are just buying them for the image.
