its nothing to be paranoid about, besides all this brain monitoring and stuff, it is incredibly high chance to get it, besides if you do you may only hear stuff..not feel anything.

you don't know what you're talking about douevenknowwhoiam...it did happen to me because the vaporizer for the anesthetic failed for the first 30 minutes - i was paralyzed but not asleep and could feel everything! gosh, i hate it when people think they know it all. check out the cnn video we were in and get educated.

Sorry that your attempt to make me upset did not work...I already have a written document from the anesthesiology group explaining what happened and no, they could not tell. So if there is anything else you would like to do in attempts to disprove the fact that God wasted his time on you, go ahead. Have a nice life. And by the way, I'm not your buddy.

yeah i'm sorry for what i said, theres no excuse for it and the only attempt i can make would be to say i had a bad week. Theres no way for me to know whether you were telling the truth or not which means i should have never said anything in the first place. sorry again for being a jerk.

thank you for apologizing. please don't make comments to people like that anymore.if you actually are sorry, watch "inside edition" this week as my story will be featured along with the premiere of the movie "awake". tell people you care about to ask for a bis monitor to help with determining their brain activity during any surgery. i'm on youtube's "cnn awareness to awareness" too. (erin)Maybe God did give you a heart. use it for good, not for making people feel worse than they already do.

yeah i've been under anesthesia twice, under surgery for dental treatment, i didn't have any problems. i felt quite drunk after for about 20 minuets, and it's VERY swollen and abit sore. but other than that, it's not bad.

Be very careful if the anesthesia provider wants to give you the amnesia drug VERSED. It does not work a lot of the time, but your provider will not care because they think the amnesia will will make up for the agony they put you through. Exactly like REAL anesthesia awareness. VERSED/Midazolam is dangerous as an "anesthesia awareness" drug!

when i went to get my tonsils removed i became aware midway through surgery i felt like i could not breath and i couldent open my eyes i sit up and strained as hard as i could to breath but couldent.. after the surgery i asked one of the nurses if it indeed did happen or i imagined it and she confirmed it did and gave me a mirror i strained so hard i busted blood vessles in my right eye.
