Economical View & Construction Sector of Ghana

Ghana has started construction of a world class 10 billion-dollar information communication technologies (ICT) city project aimed at bringing all players under one roof within three years. The six towers' project, known as the "City of Hope", will have Africa's tallest building at a height of 270 meters. A locally owned technology giant, Rlg Communications, is constructing the project, which will house over 25,000 people and create over 50,000 jobs when complete. It will also have a computer hardware assembly plant, ICT training centre, banks, shops, pleasure, sports, medical and educational facilities. City of Hope is being built at the Kasoa a suburb of Accra.
The World Bank has allocated $400 million towards the completion of four major road projects and the general development of the country’s transport sector. The bank has also earmarked $100 million to support the implementation of the Accra city project designed to give a facelift to the national capital and address its sanitation and water supply challenges.
Ghana is a wealthy natural resource enriched country possessing a great abundance of industrial minerals, hydrocarbons and a vast array of precious metals. Gana Ekonomik Görünümü ve Yapı Sektörü
Gana’da başlayan, 10 milyar dolar değerindeki “iletişim teknolojileri şehri” projesi, bu sektörü tek bir çatı altında toplamayı amaçlıyor. “Umut Şehri” olarak anılan “Altı kule” projesi, Batı Afrika’nın en yüksek binaları olacak. Proje yerel bir firma olan Rlg Communications tarafından yürütülüyor ve bu proje ile 25.000 kişiye barınma ve 50.000 kişiye çalışma onalağı yaratılmış olacak. Akra2nın Kasoa bölgesinde yürütülen projede ayrıca bir bilgisayar donanım üretim hattı, eğitim merkezi, bankalar, alışveriş merkezleri, spor, sağlık ve eğitim birimleri yer alacak.
Dünya Bankası, dört büyük otoban projesinin ve genel yatırımlarımların tamamlanabilmesi için 400 milyon dolar ayırmış durumda. Akra şehrinin su ve kanalizasyon altyapısına yönelik yatırımlar için de Dünya Bankası’nın ayrıca 100 milyon dolar bütçesi bulunmakta.
